Weekend Reflections: Big Sioux River

 

Winter has finally come to Sioux Falls with frigid temperatures and yes finally snow. I had planned on taking today to go out and about with my camera and get some shots to share but with the winds kicking up I became a big chicken and decided to stay indoors. So instead today I am pulling from my archives. This reflection has been just waiting patiently for me to post it. It was taken in late fall at the Big Sioux Recreation Area.

Weekend Reflections: Arrowhead Park

Due to a nasty winter flu bug this last week I had to pass on some fun photo shoots and reschedule  planned ones. Although sick my week did turn out to be a productive one, (learn more here) yet I do not have any new photographs to share. So instead I have decided to pull this beautiful reflection shot taken at Arrowhead Park a few years ago from my archives.

Just a few reflection shots taken in down town Sioux Falls, a few days before I left for vacation. This first shot is of the alley side of the City Hall building.

 This next one is of the building and sky reflecting on the side of my van.
