Healing Children With Style

For a child being sick and having to go to the hospital or worse yet having to stay in the hospital can be a very scary and traumatic experience. Knowing this Sioux Falls Sanford Health Center decided to make the experience a little less traumatic and more of a fairy tail adventure for children so they built this amazing hospital.

Not only does the outside look like a castle but the inside is beautifully decorated in a fairy tail castle theme. Among some of the decorations are pennants, shields and even suits of Armor. One thing that I thought was fantastic is that the patient rooms are NOT white, each one is decorated with a different theme in beautiful colors that are calming. I have to tip my hat to them for going the extra mile to make sick children feel more at ease during their time at the hospital. The children's hospital is located in Central Sioux Falls next to Sanford Medical Centers main hospital.
