Waiting

I believe these geese were watching over their nest, but was unable to get close enough to be sure.

I was not far from their location for over a half hour taking photos of the geese and ducks on and around the lake at Arrowhead Park and they never wandered from this area.

On The Outskirts

On the outskirts of Sioux Falls country life meets city life very quickly. Here are two shots from the outer edge of the city that I happened to have with me on my jump drive.

Corn fields and horses are the most common thing you will see on the edge of the city.

Sad Sight

Just before I headed out on vacation I was down town and saw this very sad sight. Someone had knocked a rather large dent in this sculpture. Why someone would do such a thing I can not imagine, even if they don't like the art piece to damage it is just wrong. I hope the offer of a reward helped the police identify the person responsible for the damage.
