Just a peek

I am hoping to get out and photograph more of the Black Hills National Forest soon, but for now here is a little peek at the beauty it holds.

Canyon Lake Park

With the busy summer season upon us, I thought it would be nice to share a bit of Canyon Lake Park, which is just one of our many parks here in Rapid City.

Not only is Canyon Lake Park's picturesque setting perfect for your outdoor gatherings and events, it is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon relaxing.

You can:

 Enjoy some fishing.

Spend time on the lake.

Escape from the summer heat.

Do a little homework or maybe just find a nice spot in the shade to nap.

The park also has a number of playgrounds and picnic shelters.
